22nd Annual International Beach & River Sweep
Beach Sweep/River Sweep -- organized by S.C. Sea Grant Consortium in partnership with S.C. Department of Natural Resources -- is the largest one-day litter cleanup of South Carolina's beaches and waterways. Last year, over 6,000 South Carolinians from the mountains, through the midlands, to the coast collected over 57 tons of trash from our waterways, covering 1,345 miles of environmentally sensitive areas. 11th Annual Lip-Rippin' Chililympics Chili Cook-Off at Spud's WaterfrontThe event has earned its reputation as a "must do." November 13, 20107th Annual Murrells Inlet 2020 Oyster Roast 11:30 am-3:30 pmHeld on the inlet at Spud's Waterfront Dining Parking lot on Business 17, it's a favorite event for locals and visitors. Oyster eaters belly up to the tables for an all-you-can-eat afternoon of steamed oysters. A menu of other food items and beer and soda are available. Enjoy great offerings from Dead Dog Saloon, Drunken Jack's, Divine Fish House, Bovine's, River City Cafe, The Beaver Bar and more. Entertainment and 50/50 raffle. Guaranteed a fun afternoon for all.
